WORDS OF GREETING
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
And also with you.
Prayer For Illumination
Almighty God, You have sent Jesus to show us how to live. Grant us the inspiration of the Holy Spirit so that we may understand the Scriptures and follow Jesus in faithfulness all the days of our lives. Amen.

Call To Worship (from Psalm 22:1, 3-4, 19, 24)
My God, my God, why have You forsaken me?
Why are You so far from my cry in the hour of my distress?
Yet You are the Holy One in Whom our ancestors put their trust.
They cried out to You and were delivered; they trusted, and You delivered them.
Be not far away, O Lord, for You are our strength.
Your face is not hidden from the needy, but when we cry out, O Lord, You hear us.
Prayer Of Confession
Almighty God, in Jesus Christ You called us to be a servant people, but we do not do what You command us. We think more of ourselves than having to serve others and less of others because they serve us. We seek to be served than to serve. We are often silent when we should speak, and useless when we could be useful. Humble us to be more like Your Son. Have mercy on us, O God, through the sacrifice of Your humble Son. Forgive us and free us from sin, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
(Silent prayer of personal confession.)
Call To Confession
As Paul wrote, “Since all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” we know we are sinners standing in the need of the grace of God.
We are sinners standing in the need of prayer and confession;
Therefore, we confess our sins together praying…
Know the love of God through God’s giving up His only Son.
We remember Jesus hung in the cross as a sacrifice for our sins.
In response to such love, hang your life on the love of God.
Prayers of the People(Prayer requests are listed at the end of the bulletin.)
Prayer of Dedication
Gracious Lord, Who gave all you had so that we might find pardon and life, receive our gifts cheerfully and generously given so that the good news of Your Son may spread nearby and far away to your glory in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen.
The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.
