Words of Greeting
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
And also with you.
Prayer For Illumination
Sovereign Father, open our ears so that we may hear Your Word today. Holy Spirit, open our hearts so that we may understand fully Your Word. Guide us, O Word of God, to live out that understanding in the world through the power of Your name, Jesus our Messiah. Amen.
(Remember the presentation of your tithes and offerings to God are a positive and personal manifestation of worship.
In support of the ministry of the church, please remember to respond
to the love of God in your life by offering yourself and your gift
out of gratitude for the innumerable blessings we have received from God.)

Prayer Of Confession
God of covenant, we confess that our faith has been small. We have doubted Your promises, and have denied Your power to free us from captivity, and to establish us in security. We have chosen instead to trust in our own ways and strength. By Your tender mercy, forgive our unbelief; fill us with Your Holy Spirit so that we may fully trust and obey You. Cast out our sin, and enter in; be born in us today, in the name of our Lord Jesus.
(Silent prayer of personal confession.)
Call To Confession
The Apostle Paul reminds us that we were at one time “without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel,
And strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.”
“But now in Christ Jesus (we) who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.” (Ephesians 2:12-13) With such hope through the blood of Christ, we confess our sinfulness by praying.....
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances;
For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
God of love, who showed Your love for the world by giving You Son so that the world may be saved, receive our gifts sacrificially given so that this good news may be told and the world be saved, through Jesus our Savior. Amen.

Pastoral Prayers of the People (Prayer requests are listed at the end of the bulletin.)
The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
Affirmation Of Faith - “The Apostles’ Creed”
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.
