We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father; through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven, was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and became truly human. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

Call To Worship (Psalm 118:1a, 19-24)
O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His steadfast love endures forever!
Open to me the gates of righteousness, that I may enter through them and give thanks to the Lord.
This is the gate of the Lord; the righteous shall enter through it.
I thank You that You have answered me and have become my salvation.
The stone the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone.
This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.
THIS IS THE DAY THAT THE LORD HAS MADE; LET US REJOICE AND BE GLAD IN IT.
Prayer Of Confession
Almighty God, like Your children of old, we gather with loud praises to Jesus, the King of kings and Lord of lords. Yet, we acknowledge our steps have often led us away from Him. We have confessed Him to be our Lord, yet have turned away from His call to lay down our lives for the sake of the gospel. Forgive us for living to satisfy our own desires, rather than walking in the way of Jesus. Forgive our arrogance in thinking our way is the way. Help us to remember that Your Son Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Empower us through the Holy Spirit to honor Jesus with loving obedience and persevering faithfulness to Him at all times, to the glory of Your Suffering Servant Son, our Lord Jesus. Amen.
(Silent prayer of personal confession.)
Call To Confession (Psalm 18:1-3)
With the hope of Psalmist, we say, “I love You, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer, my God,
My rock in Whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
I call upon the Lord, Who is worthy to be praised, so I shall be saved from my enemies.”
To such a God, who saves us from our enemies and our sins, we confess our sinfulness by together praying…
Ready yourselves for Holy Week’s suffering and death of our Lord.
We shall journey through suffering and death with our Lord.
