Assurance Of Forgiveness
In baptism, we have been buried and raised with Christ, by the power of God the Father. God has made us alive with Christ and has forgiven all our sins. My friends, believe the good news, our sins are forgiven.
Affirmation of Faith - “The Apostles’ Creed”

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.
Benediction  and Postlude
Words of Greeting
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
And also with you.
Prayer For Illumination
O Lord God, may the Holy Spirit open Your Word to us today in the Scriptures. Also, may the words of the preacher’s mouth and the meditations of all our hearts be acceptable to You, our Rock and our Redeemer. Amen.

Call To Worship
Call on the name of the Lord in praise;
Make known God’s deeds among the nations!
Sing to God with joyful songs;
Tell of his wonderful deeds! (Psalm 105:1-2)
Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over Him.  (Romans 6:9)
Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have died.
(1 Corinthians 15:20)
Let us worship God!
Prayer Of Confession
God of apostles and prophets, of loving mothers and faithful fathers, Your promises to us are great and sure. Yet we reject Your good gifts offered to us through Jesus of Nazareth, and sealed by His resurrection. We have sought instead to satisfy our desires with our own resources. Forgive our ingratitude and stubborn self-will. By Your Spirit help us to trust Your promises, that we may cast ourselves into Your good hands, living in the way of Your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
(Silent prayer of personal confession.)
Call To Confession

Paul writes to the Roman church, “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh could not do.…”  (from Romans 8:1-4)
Let us confess our sins as we pray together.
Worship on Sunday so that we may walk with the Resurrected Lord and so that we may talk with Jesus together.

Prelude - “The Strife is O’er”   by   D. Hustad
The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
