Assurance Of Forgiveness (1 Peter 2:24-25)
Jesus Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross,
So that, free from sins, we might live for righteousness; by His wounds we have been healed.
For we were going astray like sheep, but now we have returned to the Shepherd and Guardian of our souls.
Affirmation Of Faith - “The Apostles’ Creed”

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

Call To Worship  (Psalm 66:1-5, 20a)
Make a joyful noise to God, all the earth;
Sing glory to His name; give to Him glorious praise.
Say to God, “How awesome are Your deeds!
Because of Your great power, Your enemies cringe before You.
All the earth worships You; they sing praises to You,
Sing praises to Your name.
Come and see what God has done:
He is awesome in His deeds among mortals.
Prayer Of Confession
Source of all wisdom, You have called us to honor Your word, and showered us with blessing when we have followed Your counsel. You have sent Your Spirit to purify us deep within, so that we may follow Your way single-heartedly, even when other voices and inner desires call us away from You. Yet, we have disregarded Your precepts, and grieved Your sanctifying Spirit. In mercy, forgive us for resisting You, for choosing our will over Your will. By Your boundless love, draw us near to You, that with joy and gratitude we may honor You faithfully in all that we do and say and bear abundant fruit of beauty and wholeness and kindness, which is the inheritance of those who live by Your holy wisdom made flesh, Jesus our Lord.
(Silent prayer of personal confession.)
Call To Confession (Matthew 11:28-30)
With King David we confess our sins, “Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your steadfast love:
According to Your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.”
God protect us from the Evil One.
God send us, as You sent Your Son Jesus.
Become a constant conversation partner in Holy Trinity of God.

Prayers of the People (Prayer requests are listed at the end of the bulletin.)
Prayer of Dedication
From Your bounty we have received and our cup overflows with more than enough for us. Take the gifts we bring to show our love for You and for our neighbor and use them both to build the body of Christ through worship, nurture, and fellowship and also to help the poor, the widow, the stranger, and the orphan. We are thankful for the blessings we receive daily from Your hand in the name of our Lord Jesus. Amen
Benediction  and Postlude -   “Prelude in F Major” J. E. Kindermann
The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
