I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

Call To Worship
In the last days it will come to pass, God’s Spirit poured out on all flesh.
Sons and daughters shall prophesy, young men shall see visions and old men shall dream dreams,
On the captives, both men and women, God’s Spirit will be poured out and they shall prophesy.
Let us call upon the name of the Lord, who alone has given us salvation.
Prayer Of Confession
Almighty God, you poured your Spirit upon gathered disciples, creating bold tongues, open ears and a new community of faith. We confess that we hold back the force of your Spirit among us. We do not listen for your word of grace, speak the good news of your love, or live as a people made one in Christ. Have mercy on us, O God. Transform our timid lives by the power of your Spirit and fill us with a flaming desire to be your faithful people, doing your will for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
(Silent prayer of personal confession.)
Call To Confession ( Romans 8:1-4)
Paul writes to the Roman church, “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh could not do.…”
Let us confess our sins as we pray together.
Inhale the breath of Jesus once again
May rivers of living water flow forth from our lives.
May the world be overflowed by the living water of the Holy Spirit.
Good and gracious God, just as you poured out the power of your Spirit on the Day of Pentecost, pour out your power upon these gifts and the very lives that we offer to your purposes. Teach and inspire our young people to dream dreams and follow those dreams in serving you. May all that we offer in your name bring about a vision of your gracious and sovereign realm of love, in Jesus name.Amen
Benediction and Postlude - “Glorious Things of Thee Are Spoken”
The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
