Assurance Of Forgiveness (Peter 2:24-25)
Jesus Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross,
So that, free from sins, we might live for righteousness; by His wounds we have been healed.
For we were going astray like sheep,
But now we have returned to the Shepherd and Guardian of our souls.
Through Jesus Christ, we are forgiven.
Affirmation Of Faith - “The Nicene Creed”

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father; through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven, was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and became truly human. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.  Amen.

Call To Worship  (Psalm 8)
O Lord our Lord, how exalted is Your name in all the world!
Out of mouths of infants and children Your majesty is praised above the heavens.
When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars You have set in their courses,
What are human beings that You should be mindful of them? Mortals that You should seek them out?
You have made them but little lower than the angels; You adorn them with glory and honor.
O Lord our Lord, how exalted is Your name in all the world!
Prayer Of Confession
God of power, love, and fellowship, we confess that we have failed to honor Your holy image, implanted within us by Your sovereign love, which teaches us to live in bonds of love and honor; even as you live as one God in three persons. We have not lived and forgiven as we have been loved and forgiven by You. We stray from Your way, and bear images of other gods. Have mercy on us. Redeem us through our Lord Jesus Christ, and by Your Spirit raise us up to new life, that we may serve You faithfully, living to the praise of Your holy name – Almighty Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(Silent prayer of personal confession.)
Call To Confession (Mark 2:4-5)
The Gospel of Mark records the story of the paralyzed man and his friends and writes, “And when they could not bring him to Jesus because of the crowd, they removed the roof above Him; and after having dug through it, they let down the mat on which the paralytic lay.
“When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.”
Since Jesus has the authority to forgiven our sins and to heal us, let us confess our sins to God in the name of Jesus, praying,
This community of God and humanity is bound and known by love.
That’s what the Trinity means: a community of God in love.
Come know love.
Come, join the dance.

The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
