Assurance Of Forgiveness (Colossians 2:13-14))
The Apostle Paul writes to the Colossian Church, “And when you were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive together with him,
When He forgave us all our trespasses, erasing the record that stood against us with its legal demands. He set it aside, nailing to the cross.
My friends, through the crucifixion of Jesus, we are saved, and our sins are forgiven.
Affirmation Of Faith - “The Nicene Creed”

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father; through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven, was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and became truly human. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.  Amen.

Prayer For Illumination

Call To Worship  (Psalm 145:8-14)
The LORD is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
The LORD is good to all, and his compassion is over all that he has made.
All your works shall give thanks to you, O LORD, and all your faithful shall bless you.
They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom, and tell of your power,
To make known to all people your mighty deeds, and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures throughout all generations.
The LORD is faithful in all his words, and gracious in all his deeds. The LORD upholds all who are falling, and raises up all who are bowed down.
Prayer Of Confession
O kind and loving God, Who demands justice and righteousness from Your people, we confess to You that we fall short of both. The good we wish to do, we do not do. The bad we know should not do, we do. Though we know to do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with You, we do not. Instead, we seek our own broad way, lack kindness, and selfishly promote what we desire. Have mercy on us and lead us in the way of Your Son Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray.
(Silent prayer of personal confession.)
Call To Confession (Mark 2:4-5)
The Psalmist writes, “Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted.
Relieve the troubles of my heart, and bring me out of my distress.
Consider my affliction and my trouble, and forgive all my sins.”
With such hope in God to forgive our sins, we confess our sins together praying....
Where does your hope lie?
Our hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Christ and righteousness.
Be a slave only to Jesus Christ.

Prayer of Dedication
O Father God, who grants all the blessings of our lives, we are thankful for the gift of our beautiful earth, a safe place to live, plenty to eat and drink, freedom for our faith, and more than enough to share. We dedicate our gifts to You for the work of the church here and worldwide, along with these freedoms to pledge our lives to You, in the name of Jesus, who gave His life freely for the world and us.   Amen.

The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
