Assurance Of Forgiveness
The Lord is gracious and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
The Lord is good to all; and His tender mercies are over all His works.
The Lord is near to all that call upon Him in truth.
The good news is that God will save us through His Son Jesus our Lord.
Affirmation Of Faith - “The Nicene Creed”

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father; through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven, was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and became truly human. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.  Amen.

Inspiring Holy Spirit, write the words of Scripture on our hearts so that we may engrave them in our lives and then in our world, through Jesus, the very Word of God.   Amen.

Call To Worship  (Psalm 145:8-14)
Give praise and thanksgiving to the Lord our Redeemer God.
Make His saving power known in the world around.
Pay Him honor with song and praise.
Think upon all His wonders and exult in His holy name.
LET THOSE WHO SEEK THE LORD BE JOYFUL IN HEART.
Prayer Of Confession
Eternal God, our gracious, loving Creator, Whose character reveals an attitude of benevolent generosity, we confess we have not always been generous toward You or our neighbor in need. We have hoarded love, been skimpy with compassion, and stingy with forgiveness while expecting the lavish blessings of a gracious God. Have mercy on us, O God, and forgive us, lest we be robbed of the joy of giving, even as in Christ You have given so extravagantly to us.
(Silent prayer of personal confession.)
Call To Confession (Psalm 25:6, 7)
We are sinners who say with the Psalmist: “Be mindful of Your mercy, O Lord, and of Your steadfast love, for they have been from of old.”
Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love remember me, for your goodness’ sake, O Lord!”
Recognizing our history of sinfulness, let us continue to confess our sins together:
Charge
Trust God and listen to God's calling you.
We shall remember to eat the body and drink the cup of sorrows of our Lord.
Jesus is with us in our sorrow and anguish.

Prayer of Dedication
O Lord God, take our gifts and consecrate them for Your glory to do ministry here in our community and world. We lift our gratitude to the blessings we have been given by Your hand and dedicate our lives again to You, in the name of Jesus our Lord.     Amen.
The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
