Assurance Of Forgiveness
Paul also wrote, “We know the old self was crucified with Him so that the body of sin might be destroyed, and we might no longer be enslaved to sin.
For whoever has died is freed from sin. But if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with Him.
So, you must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 6:6-8, 11)
We believe the good news: through Jesus, our sins are forgiven.

Prayer For Illumination
Inspiring Holy Spirit, open the Scriptures to me this day. Grant me understanding and wisdom, for Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path, through our Lord Jesus.    Amen.

Call To Worship (Psalm 113:1-4)
Praise the Lord! Praise, O servants of the Lord; praise the name of the Lord.
Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time on and forevermore.
From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised.
The Lord is high above all nations, and His glory above the heavens.
Prayer Of Confession
Merciful God, You have forgiven us again and again, even though we have continued to offend Your holy law. We accept Your forgiveness with gratitude; yet, we have not likewise forgiven those who have offended us. We have kept grudges, nursed hatreds, and cultivated resentments. Forgive our lack of love; our failure to extend to others the generous grace You have shown us. Help us by Your Spirit, to love one another as we have been loved, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
(Silent prayer of personal confession.)
Call To Confession (Hebrews 10:19-22)
TIn Romans, Paul reminds us, “All, both Jews and Greeks, are under the power of sin” (3:9b)
And “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (3:23)
We have sinned, fallen short, and stand in the need of help; therefore, we confess our sinfulness, praying…
The Lord has welcomed us.
Welcome everyone who comes in faith with their differences and all.

Prayer of Dedication
O Lord God, honor and glory be to Your name, receive our sacrificial gifts and use them to do magnificent works nearby and far away so that all people will come to know that You are the Lord of all creation. We are profoundly thankful for your love that sustains us today and your grace that opens eternity tomorrow, through our Lord Jesus Amen.
The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Affirmation Of Faith - “The Apostles’  Creed”
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting.  Amen.
