Affirmation Of Faith- “A Brief Statement of Faith” (11.1; 11.5)
In life and in death we belong to God. Through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, we trust in the one triune God, the Holy One of Israel, whom alone we worship and serve. With believers in every time and place, we rejoice that nothing in life or in death can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Words of Greeting
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
And also with you.
Prayer For Illumination
O Lord of light, Jesus, the light of the world, illumine our eyes to see You in the Scriptures by the power of the Holy Spirit, open our ears to hear You in the sermon, and empower us to follow You into the world to serve others to the glory of God the Father. Amen.
(Remember the presentation of your tithes and offerings to God are a positive and personal manifestation of worship.
In support of the ministry of the church, please remember to respond
to the love of God in your life by offering yourself and your gift
out of gratitude for the innumerable blessings we have received from God.)

Call To Worship
Remember the promise of the Lord:
God will pour out the Spirit on all flesh. (Acts 2:17)
The Spirit helps us in our weakness,
Interceding with sighs too deep for words. (Romans 8:26)
The Spirit renews the earth. (Psalm 104:30, 35)
Bless the name of the Lord!
Prayer Of Confession
God of great mercy, we confess that we have sinned against You. We bless what we should curse and curse what we should bless. We trust our own righteousness and forget Your gift of grace. Forgive us by Your steadfast love shown to us in Jesus, who loved the world so much that He gave His life as a sacrifice for the world. Create a clean heart within us. Teach us Your holy way known through the Holy One anointed by the Holy Spirit. Restore to us the joy of salvation, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
(Silent prayer of personal confession.)
Call To Confession (Psalm 25:16-18)
Set a guard over my mouth, O Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips.
Let not my heart be drawn to what is evil, to take part in wicked deeds with those who are evildoers;
Let me not eat of their delicacies. (Psalm 141:3, 4)
WE CAST OUR SINFUL SELVES BEFORE YOU IN CONFESSION BY PRAYING .....
God of steadfast love, who generously gave Your beloved Son for the world, receive our gifts given in response to Your gracious love. Bless these gifts so that they may make a difference in our community and world, to Your glory, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
