Assurance Of Forgiveness (Psalm 103:8-12)
The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in loving-kindness. He will not always strive with us; nor will He keep His anger forever. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear Him.
As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.
Affirmation Of Faith - (Romans 8:28, 38-39)
We know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. We are convinced that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Words of Greeting
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
And also with you.
Prayer For Illumination
Living God, help us so to hear your holy Word that we may truly understand; that, understanding, we may believe, and, believing, we may follow in all faithfulness and obedience, seeking your honor and glory in all that we do; through Christ our Lord.      Amen.

Call To Worship Psalm 20:1-2, 6-9, (NASB)
May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble!
May the name of the God of Jacob set you securely on high!
May He send you help from the sanctuary,
And support you from Zion!
Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed:
He will answer him from His holy heaven, with the saving strength of His right hand.
Some boast in chariots, and some in horses;
But we will boast in the name of the Lord, our God.
They have bowed down and fallen;
But we have risen and stood upright.
Save, O Lord;
May the King answer us in the day we call.
 Prayer Of Confession
Almighty God, you poured your Spirit upon gathered disciples creating bold tongues, open ears, and a new community of faith. We confess that we hold back the force of your Spirit among us. We turn away from your call, distracted by our own plans and aimless enthusiasms. We speak when we should listen, and act when we should wait. Have mercy on us, O God. Transform our lives by the power of your Spirit, and fill us with a burning desire to be your faithful people, doing your will for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord.
(Silent prayer of personal confession.)
Call To Confession (Hebrews 4:15-16)
Friends, our high priest, Jesus Christ, knows all our weaknesses, and can sympathize, because he was tested in every way we are, only without sinning.
So, let us come boldly to the throne of grace, where we can find mercy and grace to help when we need it most.
You are loved by God, and called by God. As the people of God, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.
We know our work is not in vain in the Lord.

The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Now, to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.
Congregational Response - Hymn #420, verse 5
Hymn “We Give Thee But Thine Own”
1. We give Thee but Thine own,
Whate'er the gift may be;
All that we have is Thine alone,
A trust, O Lord, from Thee.
2. May we Thy bounties thus
As stewards true receive,
And gladly, as Thou blessest us,
To Thee our firstfruits give.

Save us from weak resignation,
To the evils we deplore.
Let the search for Thy salvation,
Be our glory evermore.
Grant us wisdom, grant us courage,
Serving Thee Whom we adore,
Serving Thee Whom we adore.
