Assurance Of Forgiveness
It is by this that we know what love is: that Christ laid down his life for us. And we in our turn are bound to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.  (1 John 3:16)
No one therefore who dwells in Christ remains a sinner. Christ appeared to do away with sins. (From 1 John 3)
My friends, believe the good news: Dwelling in Jesus Christ, we are forgiven.
Affirmation Of Faith - "The Apostles' Creed"
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

Call To Worship
The earth is the Lord’s and all that is in it, the world, and those who live in it;
For He has founded it on the seas and established it on the rivers.
Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors! That the King of glory may come in.
Who is the King of glory?
The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle.
The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory.
Prayer Of Confession
Eternal God, in Whom we live and move and have our being, Your face is hidden from us by our sins, and we forget Your mercy in the blindness of our hearts. Cleanse us from all our offenses and deliver us from proud thoughts and vain desires. With lowliness and meekness, may we draw near to You, confessing our faults, confiding in Your grace, and finding in You our refuge and strength, through Jesus Christ Your Son.
(Silent prayer of personal confession.)
Call To Confession
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High,
Who abides in the shadow of the Almighty, will say to the Lord,
“My refuge and my fortress; my God, in Whom I trust.”
For He will deliver You from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.
It is to such a Deliverer that we confess our sins, praying…
Charge
Brick by brick, grow us together in Jesus Christ.
Brick by brick, we shall become the Holy Temple.
Day by day, become the dwelling place of God.

Prayer of Dedication
Almighty Father, receive our gifts to be used for Your purposes in the building up of Your church. Take our lives and consecrate them to Your glory alone so that we live faithful, holy lives in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Benediction
The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and given you peace, both now and in the life everlasting.  Amen.

The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Preparation For Worship (Reading before service for quiet meditation)
In a book titled Saying Goodbye: A Time of Growth for Congregations and Pastor, Pastor Ralph Johnson, who is leaving his parish, wrote in his “From the Pastor’s Desk”: “How grateful I am that our faith makes it possible for us to accept such a closure with positive feelings! For after all, we are but the ‘actors’ in this grand drama of God’s redemption. And even though we come on stage or leave, the Author abides unchanged and eternal! That’s really all that matters.”  (p. 96, Edward A. White)
Song Of Assurance

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost.
