Loving Source of our being, You have loved us with an everlasting love. You gave us Your only eternal Son as a sacrifice for our sin. You sent us Your Holy Spirit to shed abroad Your love within us. Yet, we have not loved You with our whole heart. We have not loved our neighbors as ourselves. Forgive us for the ingratitude that causes us to take Your love for granted. Help us to forgive those who have offended us. Fill us anew with Your Holy Spirit so that we may love as you have loved us, through our Savior Jesus Christ.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In God’s great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
We believe the good news: by the power of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we are forgiven.
AFFIRMATION OF FAITH - “The Confession of Belhar”

We believe that God has entrusted the church with the message of reconciliation in and through Jesus Christ. We believe that the church is called to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world, that the church is called blessed because it is a peacemaker, that the church is witness both by word and by deed to the new heaven and the new earth in which righteousness dwells. We believe that God’s life-giving Word and Spirit has conquered the powers of sin and death, and therefore also of irreconciliation and hatred, bitterness and enmity, that God’s life-giving Word and Spirit will enable the church to live in a new obedience which can open new possibilities of life for society and the world. Therefore, we reject any doctrine which, in such a situation sanctions in the name of the gospel or of the will of God the forced separation of people on the grounds of race and color and thereby in advance obstructs and weakens the ministry and experience of reconciliation in Christ.

May the God of Grace go with you as you follow this Lenten path.
Wherever it takes you, and to whomever it takes you, may you go with the blessing of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit,
both now and forever. Amen.
Message from Pastor Jim
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Sovereign Lord, may the words of the preacher’s mouth and the meditation of all our hearts be acceptable to You, our Rock and Redeemer, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Drink from Jesus Christ, the Living Water.
May the Living Water run deep within us.
May the Living Water reconcile all brokenness in life.
Pour Your Living Water on the earth, as you have on the Church.
